The Neem tree grows in India; in Ayurveda it is known as the ‘divine tree’ and can grow up to 30 metres tall and 2 metres thick. Neem oil is pressed from the seeds; it is renowned for its purifying, protective and restorative properties and is therefore used in many Ayurvedic recipes.

This first cold-pressed neem oil has a powerful purifying and restorative effect and fits into a natural skincare routine to restore balance to the skin and scalp. Thanks to its rich concentration of plant-based active ingredients, this oil is ideal for problem skin, irritated body skin and a troubled scalp. Properties

This pure, organic neem oil contains a high concentration of triterpenes and natural active ingredients known for their purifying and protective properties. Pure neem oil is antifungal, anti-infectious and antiparasitic. Furthermore, neem oil effectively combats parasites such as ticks, mites and lice. Its rich texture makes it ideal for topical application or as a carrier oil when combined with lighter vegetable oils.

Use

Apply the oil undiluted to specific areas of the skin, such as spots, rough patches or irritated areas of the body. For broader applications, mix a few drops with a mild vegetable oil such as jojoba or argan. For the scalp, the oil can be used as a purifying hair mask: apply, leave to work and rinse out whilst washing. Do not use the oil undiluted on large areas! If the oil solidifies due to lower temperatures, it can be warmed between the hands or in a bain-marie. For external use only. Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use on young children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Store in a cool, dark place.
