The bottles, boxes and caps are produced in Italy. The boxes are not only fully recyclable and biodegradable, but also FSC-certified, which means that the pulp used all comes from managed forests. The glass bottles and wooden caps are fully recyclable. The paper labels are 100% tree-free and fully recycled to save energy and preserve trees. The HITO perfume labels are made with algae from the Venice lagoon, the proliferation of which would endanger the lagoon's fragile ecosystem, using bio-waste to preserve the environment.
