DIY skincare - recipes for fresh moisturisers
Want to create your own ideal moisturiser?
In this blog, we’re sharing a series of DIY recipes for fresh face moisturisers, made with pure butters and organic oils. Each recipe is straightforward and flexible, with no fiddly jars involved.
We’ll start with the basics: natural creams and moisturisers for your face — built around a single simple principle that you can adapt to suit your needs.
Here’s how our recipes are structured
Our recipes in this blog start by mixing a base serum. You can use this serum in various ways, depending on what you prefer.
- You can use it as a light serum under your skincare
- You can turn it into a cream by combining it with shea butter and floral water
- Or — our recommendation — apply the serum first and finish with a freshly mixed moisturiser layer of shea butter and floral water
This way, you can choose for yourself whether you want your moisturiser to be lighter or richer, quicker-absorbing or more nourishing!
With these three recipes, you have a base from which you can create endless variations.
Green Beauty Blossoms, Blooming and Infinity show that skincare doesn’t have to be complicated — as long as you work with the right ingredients and smart formulas.
Recipe 1 - Green Beauty Blossoms
For normal, young skin (up to approx. 29 years)
Green Beauty Blossoms is fresh, light and balanced. This recipe is intended for young or combination skin.
Make sure your hands are clean and apply to the palm of your hand:
- 1 pump of cherry kernel oil,
- 1 pump of jojoba oil,
- a few drops of orange blossom water.
Mix briefly with your fingers and apply as a day cream.
For the evening, you can make the recipe slightly richer by adding a small amount of pure shea butter.
Variations within Blossoms
- For oily or acne-prone, young skin: replace the cherry seed oil with a drop of tamanu oil.
- For very dry young skin: replace the jojoba oil with one pump of baobab oil.

About working with fresh ingredients (and why that’s great)
Because you don’t need to prepare these recipes in advance, everything stays fresh and rich in active ingredients. You use exactly what you need — fresh and flexible.
For these recipes, we use only the very best ingredients: 100% pure and organic, first cold-pressed, packed with bioactive compounds and free from additives!
Always listen to your skin: if a combination doesn’t feel right, adjust the proportions or choose a lighter version.
