The Shea fruit tree grows to a height of about 20 metres and only grows wild in the West African savannahs. For thousands of years, the kernels have been crushed into an extremely nutritious nut fat or butter packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins and a unique composition of essential fatty acids. Unrefined shea butter has the highest number of healing and moisturising properties as well as the highest percentage of active ingredients of all butters and oils. Shea butter is particularly nourishing, moisturising and soothing for the skin and hair. It is anti-inflammatory, promotes the healing process and restores the skin barrier, promotes cell renewal and elasticity, and protects against extreme weather conditions and UV radiation. High-quality organic shea butter is beneficial for dry, chapped and irritated skin, itching, sunburn, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, minor skin wounds, and it reduces fine wrinkles and lines.

Rosewood oil (Aniba Rosaeodora Wood Extract)
