Active ingredients

Shea butter

Shea butter moisturises, softens and protects the skin against dryness. The butter provides intense nourishment and helps keep the skin supple and comfortable, ideal for dryness or a tight, tight feeling.

The shea fruit tree grows to a height of around 20 metres and is found only in the wild on the West African savannahs. For thousands of years, the kernels have been crushed into an extremely nutrient-rich nut fat or butter packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins and a unique composition of essential fatty acids.

Unrefined shea butter possesses the greatest number of healing and moisturising properties, as well as the highest percentage of active ingredients of all butters and oils.

Shea butter is exceptionally nourishing for skin and hair; it is anti-inflammatory, promotes the healing process, softens, moisturises, promotes cell renewal and elasticity, protects against UV radiation, and is beneficial for dry, chapped and irritated skin, itching, sunburn, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, minor skin wounds, and reduces fine wrinkles and lines.

Rosa Moschatal is native to the South American Andes, particularly the Chilean section of the Andes. This pure organic rosehip oil with a pump is made from the first cold pressing of Chilean fair trade rosehip seeds.

It contains high levels of essential fatty acids (omega-3 and 6), polyunsaturated linoleic and linolenic acids, and vitamin C. Organic rosehip oil promotes skin cell renewal, and scientific research by the University of Chile has shown that it effectively reduces scars and wrinkles and prevents skin ageing.
