This natural beauty serum combines two rare organic oils from Morocco: argan oil and cactus oil. Both oils are cold-pressed to preserve their powerful antioxidants and regenerative properties. Active ingredients

Argan oil: Rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, protects against free radicals, deeply nourishes and supports skin elasticity. Scientific studies have shown that organic argan oil revitalises the skin and gives new impetus to vital cell functions. The natural skin barrier is restored and free radicals are neutralised, effectively preventing skin damage and premature skin ageing.

Prickly pear oil: The first cold-pressed oil from organic prickly pear seeds is extremely rich in vitamin E and sterols, both of which have extraordinary properties that protect the skin against free radicals. In addition, prickly pear oil is rich in essential fatty acids that protect the skin from dehydration, improve hydration, slow down the ageing process and prevent wrinkles.

Prickly pear oil contains 82-92% oleic acid and linoleic acid, 9-16% palmitic acid and 1-2% stearic acid. Prickly pear seeds contain a maximum of 6-10% oil. This means that 25-30 kg of seeds, from approximately 1000 kg of prickly pear fruit, are needed to produce 1 litre of prickly pear oil. It is therefore an extremely expensive oil.

Use

Apply 2-3 drops to clean, slightly damp skin in the morning and/or evening. Massage gently into the face, neck and décolleté. Use alone or under your day or night cream. Ideal as a make-up base.

Origin

The organic prickly pear oil is produced with respect for the environment by a cooperative of 20 women in Morocco, which is supported by Arc en Sels on the basis of fair trade principles. This cactus therefore provides employment in very arid agricultural areas.

The high-quality organic argan oil, sourced from centuries-old wild argan trees in southern Morocco, is produced in an environmentally friendly manner using traditional methods by a local Berber women's cooperative supported by Arc en Sels on the basis of fair trade principles.

Thanks to the economic success of these women's cooperatives, this unique wild argan forest can be protected from encroaching intensive agriculture, ensuring that this earthly treasure will be preserved for the future.
