The colour pigment
Sacred lotus - Nelumbo nucifera - is revered throughout East Asia as a symbol of a pure heart and mind. In Japan, it has been used since the 9th century for the deep, vibrant colours of the jūnihitoe, the ceremonial dress worn by the women of the imperial court. In Korea, dried lotus leaves are used to make a soothing detoxification tea called yeonkkot-cha.

Vor allem in den letzten 30 Jahren war ich immer sehr enttäuscht, denn die Lippenstiftfarben waren bei fast allen Firmen identisch und wirkten immer künstilich. Außerdem war die Qualität der Lippenstifte auch im Hochpreissegment meistens unbefriedigend (zu trocken, zu matt, ungleichmäßiger Auftrag). Ich hatte meine Suche schon fast aufgegeben, bis ich vor kurzem auf 'Le Rouge Francais' gestoßen bin und ich hatte sofort ein gutes Gefühl... Daher habe ich sofort 3 verschiedene Farben bestellt und jede Farbe sieht einfach umwerfend schön aus, auch die Qualität ist herausragend, die Lippenstifte sind sehr pflegend und halten zudem auch noch den ganzen Tag.
