Active ingredients

Shea butter

Organic shea butter deeply nourishes and helps restore the skin’s natural barrier. Its rich texture leaves the skin supple, reduces fine lines caused by dryness and provides long-lasting comfort.

The shea fruit tree grows to a height of around 20 metres and is found only in the wild on the West African savannahs. For thousands of years, the kernels have been crushed into an extremely nutrient-rich nut fat or butter packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins and a unique composition of essential fatty acids. Unrefined shea butter possesses the greatest number of healing and moisturising properties, as well as the highest percentage of active ingredients of all butters and oils.

Shea butter is exceptionally nourishing for skin and hair; it is anti-inflammatory, promotes the healing process, softens, moisturises, promotes cell renewal and elasticity, protects against UV radiation, and is beneficial for dry, chapped and irritated skin, itching, sunburn, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, minor skin wounds and reduces fine wrinkles and lines.

This 100% organic shea butter is obtained by cold pressing (mechanical pressing) of the nuts and retains all its nutrients and properties.

Moringa oil

This luxurious oil is packed with antioxidants and essential fatty acids that help revitalise, protect and regenerate the skin. Ideal for tired, dry or mature skin. The cold-pressed 100% organic moringa oil is derived from cold-pressed seeds of the moringa tree, which grows in India at the foot of the Himalayas. The moringa tree, also known as the ‘miracle tree’, is mentioned in Ayurvedic texts dating back 5,000 years and is said to be able to cure more than 300 ailments.

Moringa oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and contains large amounts of fatty acids, including palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid, as well as vitamins A and C. It is widely used for insect bites, sunburn, minor skin damage such as cuts and scrapes, rashes and bruises. It has now been scientifically proven that moringa oil combats wrinkles and spots, firms the skin, restores the skin’s elasticity and pH balance, and protects against free radicals.

Vanilla extract

Vanilla softens, soothes and imparts a gentle, warm fragrance. It helps the skin to relax and contributes to a pleasant sensory experience.

Use

Face: apply a small amount to clean skin in the morning or evening.

Body: massage into dry or sensitive areas for instant nourishment and softness.

Hair: use as a nourishing mask on the lengths and ends; leave on for 30 minutes before washing. For best results, warm the balm briefly between your hands to activate its melting texture.
