Indigo leaf

Deepens brown tones and gives the chocolate colour extra warmth and intensity. Helps the colour stay beautiful for longer and supports a natural finish.

Henna leaf

Provides warm red tones, enhances shine and improves hair structure. Soothes the scalp and helps reduce dryness and dandruff.

Manjistha root

A colour-deepening Ayurvedic herb that helps make the colour warm and rich. Supports a healthy scalp thanks to its antibacterial properties.

Hibiscus flower

Rich in antioxidants, helps soothe the scalp and enhances the hair’s natural shine. Provides softness and a healthy appearance.

Amla fruit

A vitamin C-rich superfood that strengthens hair follicles, reduces dryness and provides a powerful, healthy shine.

Bhringraj leaf

Known as the ‘miracle herb’ for hair care. Helps promote hair growth, reduces hair loss and strengthens the hair roots.

Methi seed

Contains proteins and nicotinic acid that nourish and strengthen the hair roots. Moisturises, reduces dandruff and gives the hair more suppleness and volume.

Use

Before colouring your hair with this plant-based hair dye, always carry out a colour test on a small strand first. Choose the lightest strand or the area with the most grey hair.

Wear gloves.

Mixing ratio 1:3 (1 part powder + 3 parts boiling water, green or black tea, coffee or a dairy product).

Apply the colour generously and as hot as possible to clean, dry hair using a brush or your hands.

• Start at the ends and work your way up.
• Wrap the hair in cling film (plastic bag) and a towel to keep it warm and moist.
• Leave on for 25–90 minutes, depending on the desired colour intensity.
• Rinse the hair thoroughly and wash it with shampoo.
• For best results, rinse the hair with a natural rinse after washing and before applying conditioner.

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.

Please note: It is not recommended to use the Mahogany, Chocolate and Espresso henna colours on grey or very light hair. The colour may continue to develop for up to 7 days.

Tips

Henna produces reddish-orange tones, whilst indigo deepens the colour. Henna shades can range from light orange to bright red or reddish-brown and can be adjusted by mixing them with other herbs. Colour intensity increases when the hair remains warm and damp during the processing time. Heat can also shorten the processing time. The lighter the hair at the time of application, the redder the final result.

Bear in mind that botanical hair dyes are less effective at covering grey hair and may not produce a visible result if the percentage of grey hair exceeds 30%.

You can mix this botanical hair dye with:

• Green tea: Makes bright colours less yellow or red and more natural.
• Black tea: Enhances brown pigments.
• Black coffee: Deepens the colour.
• Boiling water: Enhances the colour.
• Sour milk products (yoghurt): Lightens red colours and enhances the orange pigment.
• Vegetable oil: Makes henna easier to apply and rinse out and prevents drying out whilst it is left on.
