What personal data do we process?

The Green Beauty Shop does NOT track your individual surfing behaviour and does not create profiles to enable targeted advertising, for example.

We use your data to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. For the rest, we only use this data with your consent. The Green Beauty Shop does not sell your personal data to third parties and only makes it available to third parties that are involved in processing your order.

Why do we process personal data?

Green Beauty Shop needs your personal data to be able to provide you with the following services:

• When you place an order, we need your order details such as your name, email address, telephone number (if applicable), delivery address and payment details in order to execute the purchase agreement and keep you informed of its progress. We store this data on a Secure Server. If you create an account with The Green Beauty Shop, you will always have access to this data when you are logged in.

• Contact with our Customer Service is via email and/or telephone, for which we need your name, email address, order details and, if necessary, your telephone number.

• If you sign up for our newsletter, you will receive an email from us asking you to confirm your subscription. Only when you confirm your subscription will your name, email address and product details be added to our mailing list. We use so-called “tracking pixels” in our commercial emails. These pixels allow us to see whether an email has been read, which helps us to better tailor future mailings to your preferences. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email request to our Customer Service department.

• You can sign up for our stock notification service if you would like to be informed when a product is back in stock. If you have provided your email address via our website to receive a notification when a specific product is back in stock, your email address will be automatically deleted once the email has been sent to you. The email will be automatically deleted 90 days after it has been sent.

• If you decide to write a review, you can choose whether to add your name or other personal details.

• Your name, address and order details are processed by us for administrative purposes for our accounting.

In which cases do we process personal data?

We only process your personal data in the following cases:

• You have given us permission to process your personal data for one or more specific purposes;
• The processing is necessary for the execution of the purchase agreement;
• The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Processing of personal data

We work with partners. These partners support us in the conclusion and execution of the purchase agreement, delivery, customer service, accounting, administration, providing discount codes, and designing newsletters.

In order to optimise our services to you, it may be necessary for your data to be processed by one of our partners. In this case, your data is also secure! We have made strict agreements with all our partners to handle your privacy data with care and to comply with the legal privacy rules. Insofar as they are located outside the EU, these partners have confirmed their compliance with European regulations.

To this end, we have entered into processing agreements with Lightspeed (our website partner), Klarna for deferred payments, Mollie for processing online payments, Mailcampaigns (our mailing partner), Google Analytics (website traffic measurement), Google Ads, Google Search Console, Exact Software (our business administration system), Postnl (our parcel delivery company), Webshop Keurmerk for collecting customer reviews and Plus+ (our customer messaging system for product stock).

We do not collect personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Data resulting from a fiscal retention obligation, debtor and creditor administration, must be retained for seven years. Anonymised data is excluded from the above.

Objection to the processing of personal data?

It is not legally possible to object to the processing of personal data in general, but it is possible to object to the following processing activities:

• Processing for direct marketing purposes
• Processing for scientific, historical, research or statistical purposes

You can always request, view and/or change your data with us and you have the following rights with regard to your personal data: right to information and access, right to rectification, right to portability, right to object, right to restriction of processing, right to erasure*

* The right to erasure of your personal data only applies in the following circumstances:

• If the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected;
• When you withdraw your previous consent and there is no justification for the processing.
• When you object to the basis on which the data is processed.
• When the data is processed unlawfully in other ways.

Any request relating to these rights will be reviewed within one (1) month of the request. If it relates to complex or substantial requests, the period may be extended by an additional month.

We are happy to be of service to you as much as possible when processing your personal data. If you have any comments or complaints about the way in which we process your data, please let us know. We will then be happy to investigate the possibility of reconciling your wishes with our business operations. In addition, under privacy legislation, you have the option of submitting a complaint to the Data Protection Authority about the way in which personal data is processed by the Data Protection Authority.
