Natural shampoo: how to use it for healthy hair
In this video, you can see how to use a natural shampoo. Watch step by step how to distribute a natural shampoo through your hair, massage it in, lather it up and finally rinse it out.
The shampoo we use as an example in this video is a mild natural formula without aggressive cleansers from Leonor Greyl. You can use the same technique for other natural shampoos.
There is a wide variety of shampoos for all hair types. View them in our natural shampoo category here.
What should you pay attention to when using natural shampoo?
Natural shampoo works differently than conventional shampoo. Because no synthetic foaming agents are used, there is less foam and the cleansing is gentler on your hair and scalp. This does not mean that the product is less effective, but rather that your hair and scalp remain healthy and vibrant.
How much shampoo do you need?
A common mistake is using too much shampoo. With natural formulas, a small amount is usually sufficient. Start with a small dose and only add more if necessary. So don't expect the shampoo to lather up immediately, because natural shampoo doesn't do that. But by massaging it in and lathering it up, you will gradually create just the right amount of soft foam to wash your hair.
If you have a sensitive or dry scalp, it can help to lather the shampoo in your hands first before applying it.
Who is natural shampoo suitable for?
Natural shampoo is suitable for all hair types, but is especially beneficial for people with a sensitive scalp, dry hair or hair that quickly becomes unbalanced.
