Use 

Face and body: Amla is used instead of a cleansing product, because it purifies and cares for the skin at the same time. Mix 1-2 tablespoons of Amla powder with some lukewarm water to form a paste and apply to the skin. Let it work in for about 10 minutes and then carefully rinse off with lukewarm water. 
Now you can take care of your skin with your usual cream, serum etc.

Hair: You use Amla powder as a hair conditioner / hair mask, after hair washing or dyeing. Use a glass or earthenware bowl. 
Mix 1-2 tablespoons Amla powder with some warm water (approx. 50° C) to a paste and leave it for at least 2 hours (preferably a whole night). Apply the paste to clean, towel-dried hair and massage well into the scalp and hair. Let the Amla 10-30 minutes and then rinse the hair well with lukewarm water.
