Mineral oils

Microplastics
Synthetic particles that provide texture and structure, but which we avoid due to their harmful impact on the environment and the skin.
PEGs (emulsifiers)
Are used to blend ingredients and improve texture. We avoid PEGs due to their synthetic origin and because of possible residual traces of ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane from the production process.
Synthetic fragrances and colourants

PFAS
Used for their water-repellent properties and to give the skin a smooth feel. We avoid these due to their persistence in the environment and the fact that they are difficult to break down.
