Use

Face

Apply a pea-sized amount to cleansed and, if desired, toned skin on the face and neck, instead of your antioxidant moisturiser. Leave the cream to absorb for about 10 minutes so that the plant-based ingredients are properly absorbed. Dry skin may be able to absorb a small extra amount; for oily or combination skin, this is usually not necessary, especially when wearing make-up.

Body

Apply 2 to 3 generous pea-sized amounts per exposed limb and approximately 3 for the torso. Apply generously and evenly for optimal protection.

Protection & exposure

Under ideal conditions, SPF extends the skin’s natural protection time. Factors such as sweating, swimming, friction and drying off reduce this time. Therefore, reapply regularly throughout the day, always after swimming, showering or drying off.

Additional protection such as a hat, sunglasses and tightly woven natural fabrics is strongly recommended; a T-shirt is equivalent to approximately SPF 30. Avoid direct sunlight between 10.00 and 15.00 where possible.

Notes

• Direct contact may cause stains on light or white clothing. Rub in a little detergent before washing as usual.
• Due to temperature fluctuations, the plant-based waxes and butters in the sun cream may solidify, for example during shipping when the product is transported in cold conditions. These solidified ingredients will melt again on contact with warm skin. Massage the product in with gentle movements, preferably using three fingertips side by side to create extra warmth so that the product melts smoothly into the skin. Store this product at a constant room temperature.

Use with clean, dry fingers. This is a water-free cream, which is therefore less susceptible to bacterial contamination than a water-based lotion.
